Twin mango

Tiny little mangos. (East Indian?) And my mom intentionally bought this weird monster twin. I managed to stop her just in time to take a picture but she has already started peeling it. Oops... I also forgot to ask her if it tasted the same. Oh well.

Custom made cup noodle?

No, that's only half the point.

There's a ramen (noodle) museum in Japan! (Oh my God...) And until August 31, you can custom make your own cup noodle!! Found it in this interesting Japanese blog by Yumama. (Go there to see the photos.)
  1. Put 300 yen into a vending machine to get an empty cup.
  2. Customise your cup with writing or drawing at the table.
  3. Bring the cup to the staff at the counter.
  4. You get to pull the lever.
  5. The noodle drops in.
  6. Pick your soup base from 4 flavors. (Soy source, salt, curry, sea food.)
  7. Choose 4 kinds of ingredients form many. (Looks like there are at least 10 from the photo.)
  8. And then the cup is capped and vacuum sealed.
There you have your personalized limited edition cup noodle!

Moetan figurines

Sooooo cute! Kotobukiya One Coin series. 682 yen. About 12 cm tall. Better deal then a Pinky! Aaargh!! (But all the parts are glued together except for the head which is slightly ball jointed.)

Moetan is actually a suplimental reading material for learning English, featuring illustrations of this girl.

Odometer

The odometer of my uncle's van shows 22222. I missed the 100000 of my own car last month. It's 14 years old.
