Mmm~ I miss my fractals. It's been 4 years. I made this image with... oh dear, I even forgot the name of the software! (It must be in the missing half of my brain.) There's gotta be better free ware out there. To my horror, there isn't! Whatever available is pretty much the same! (Ok, except for XaoS.)In the process of searching, I found this site.
A DVD of fractal deep zoom! What an idea! Well, it's interesting, but I don't know how many people out there would buy it. I wouldn't mind picking up a documentary type DVD but this seems to be mainly zooming.
This movie was made by animating the seed of the Mandelbrot set. Very interesting!
