Taiwanese product, got it as a gift during Chinese new year. (Yup, this was written a little while ago.)
It doesn't look too special or expensive, but actually surprisingly good! A box contains 8 individually packaged roll. "Wafer" may not be the best description, as the shell is closer to egg roll with prominent egg flavour. Non greasy, very light, crunchy, and flaky. The chocolate filling with bits of almonds... is chocolate-flavoured alright, but doesn't feel like real chocolate. Because it's a gift, I have no idea how much it is. Estimated... no more than $4? If it's around $3 I'll buy another box.

Sorry about this comment, which have nothing to do about "Almond Wafer Roll".
I think you remember your post about "Magic egg steamer" in November 2007.
I would like to give one of this as birthday present, but I do not know where or how to buy one, and I am not japanese speaking (plus, it as to be sent in France).
Can you help me find an on-line shop for gaijin? Or what is the name of this machine, who is its constructor?...
No problem. The only way I know is to go through shopping services who bit on Japanese auction for a fee. I found the egg steamer on Yahoo auction. Here's the link through Ok!shon, a shopping service. I've never used them, though.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
(By the way, the egg steamer's name is "Dreamland".)

Cool! Good luck! (I think it's "goes".) (^_^)
