4th time this year. It was for a friend's farewell gathering.Good luck Farzin! Have fun in Calgary! I'll miss you for sure. Keep in touch and take care.
Hmm... Thoughts, discoveries, ideas, whining, or just making some marks.
I mean, a trip to see Mars. We drove all the way to Squamish to avoid city lights. (2 hours drive single trip.) Mars was supposed to be as bright as the moon on the 27th, which only happens every 270 or so years.
Didn't see any moon. (It was a new moon.) Didn't see any Mars either! Aaargh! But I did see the milkyway and lots of stars. A few shooting stars too! It made a big difference without the city lights. The drive was worth it.
hanks Steven for driving~!)
This is Re-ment's first "cooking in progress" set. I wasn't going to buy it, but changed my mind after (1) seeing the quality of "Let's Cooking", (2) knowing the secret is a ginger bread house! So, naughty me, finally bought it, even with great doubts about the quality. After all, this is old. The quality turn out to be so-so. Didn't get the ginger bread house. Sob sob sob... Oh well. Some of them are acceptable, while others do feel dated.
The stickiness problem isn't that bad. But there are a few paint blobs, and overall lacks sharpness. Oh, and the jam jar has a crocked lid.

I wasn't going to touch this set at all. Ya know, with 12 in a set, and a tray only contains 10, it's close to impossible to complete the set. (Not to mention the secret.) But ever since I saw a Japanese blog that used Pinky and watermelons to set up a summer scene, I wanted some watermelons too! They're perfect for summer greeting cards! And then by chance there was this opened stray one that happened to be exactly that!!
As usual, the shiny parts are sticky, and unfortunately, the watermelon is shiny all over, both the whole and the chopped-up slices. Well, the picture on the box sure looks better then the real thing.
Can't help it!
