Farewell

My uncle passed away at around 3 pm today.
Parkinson's is definitely not a nice way to go.

The old folk's home he's been staying at has no refrigerated room (argh, not sure what you call that...). Apparently they're leaving the body in bed until tomorrow. Lucky the weather is cool now. If it was like last week, it's gonna be nasty...

I'm really sorry to read about your loss.

I've lost track of your articles during the last 6th months for the same reason, so I'm sad to learn that as I'm coming back on your place !

Sorry to hear about your loss too.
... and sorry please forgive me, as I can't recognize your handle name... (^_^;)

Sure you can't : you don't know me.

Well, in fact I think I probably dropped a line in a comment, like 10-month ago... saying I'd like to see your junkfood-adventure-page more alive (and with RSS, it would be wonderful) .

Oh, thank for the comment. (^_^)
Actually I'm hoping to make the junk food site into a blog, mainly to escape the ads from that free hosting . But I just noticed, the ads are gone again. Well, I'll definitely do it when I have more time.

YES ! That's great.

And about junkfood : did you know this : Pepsi Ice Cucumber

For myself, I'm itching to try it.

..and I'm thinking : on your JFABTC (JunkFood Adventure Blog To Come), you can have some details about your first try (purchasing location and date), secondary effects, price, opinion from local people (about the product or about you testing it), etc.. Like a kind of strange variation of a technical specification about electronic product...

And you can try products from all countries, map them on GoogleMap, show picture 'in situ', and picture of the product 'ready to eat'...

So, you already have a fan, you know :) but I know some of my friends who will become regular readers too :o)

Of course, if you do it too well, you may need some medical support... But that for a Great Purpose

sorry

Thanks for the suggestions. My "test drive" is limited to what I can get form the local candy store. Well, we'll see. (^_^)
