Chestnut Pocky

Much lighter than expected, and I'm glad that it's not heavy like the moose Pocky. The flavour reminds me of those canned chestnut paste used by bakery for chestnut cakes. It's got that canned (metallic) watery syrupy feel. At times it even tasted like orange. Kind of strange. There are only 24 sticks in a box and the price is at the moose Pocky level. If it's not this expensive, I'd buy another box.

Interesting... chestnut is called marron in Japanese, which is taken from French instead of English.
