Apple Kitkat

What the heck? It's disgusting! Doesn't smell or taste anywhere near apple! It's got that volatile cherry cough syrup feel. (Yes, cherry, not apple.) Too sweet, and has the "signature" dark chocolate bitterness. It's supposed to have a touch of cinnamon but I can't detect any. At least this one contains apple juice power unlike the 100% artificial chestnut. Aaaaw, and this is supposed to be "deluxe". Quite disappointed.

Remember me when I tested "Japanese Cider" in a vending machnig, waiting for a train for Hakone. I wanted to try some products from the vending machines we saw all along our trips, and I finaly did it for the "Cider" mention... So a lot of expectation... And then, it was just a soda with fake apple taste (maybe you kbnow it, it's an esther - a chimical product so simple to made that I learn how to in school) with some pieces of "sponge" pretending to be apple... What a desillusion...

And the end of my journey, I tried the Pockys, and it was a relief 'cause it tasted really good (to me).

Now, you know why I'm such a big fan of your junk food adventure ! Please go on :)

Haha thanks. (^_^) Hey I think you have enough experience with junk food to start a blog too! Do you remember what kind of Pocky you had?
There's a north American orange juice called Sunny-D or something like that, which contains no orange juice. In other words, it's flavoured sugar water with dye and added vitamins. I think the harm from the sugar and dye overwrites the benefits of the vitamins.
